Philippa (Pip) Dunphy
Independent Chairman
Pip is a current Board member and member of the Investment Committee for
New Zealand Accident Compensation Commission (ACC) and past board member and
head of the Investment Committee for New Zealand's Earthquake Commission. She
is also a current committee member of the New Zealand Superannuation Fund Selection
Committee and has earned the right to use the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
designation.
Pip has extensive experience in New Zealand financial markets having worked with
a number of local and offshore institutions in the area of capital raising, interest
rate and currency risk management with Goldman Sachs JB Were, Bank of New Zealand
and Bankers Trust.

Rebecca Thomas
CEO/CIO
Rebecca arrived in New Zealand in 2004 from the UK where she had an outstanding
track record and reputation, both as a Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and CEO.
Since arriving in New Zealand Rebecca has led one of the country's most successful
investment teams as CIO.
Rebecca is one of the few women to have headed a funds management operation in
London. During her 20 year career in funds management, Rebecca managed a broad range
of UK, European and US assets for a variety of investment clients. In the late 1990's,
she held the dual role of MD of Asset Management and CIO for London asset manager Johnson
Fry, successfully transitioning the business from a market capitalisation of ₤10 million
to ₤60 million.
After Johnson Fry was acquired by the US-based investment house, Legg Mason,
Rebecca continued in the CEO role for a further three years.
Prior to moving to New Zealand Rebecca worked in a consulting capacity and as a
non-executive director for a number of UK companies. She initially qualified as a barrister,
is a member of the Securities and Investment Institute of London and has passed
examinations for the UK IIMR and London Stock Exchange.

Shane Solly
Portfolio Manager
Shane F Solly, CFA is Portfolio Manager Trans-Tasman (New Zealand & Australian)
Equities at Mint Asset Management.
Shane has more than 17 years of investment management experience centred on equities
and listed property securities within New Zealand and Australia. During his career,
Shane has successfully managed an extensive range of trans-Tasman equity portfolios for
institutional and retail investors, producing consistently high levels of performance
with low levels of risk over sustained periods of time.
Most notably, Shane has managed New Zealand’s best performing benchmark-constrained
institutional trans-Tasman fund. During his management of this fund Shane achieved the
market's highest 5-year annualised information ratio (the measure of reward relative to
the measure of risk incurred). Shane has also been instrumental in developing and managing
the industry's sector-defining high-conviction equity-selection offering. This fund, while
initially configured for retail investors, was subsequently adapted to meet the requirements
of a number of institutions, including several charity groups.
In addition to his success in managing broader equity mandates, Shane has been awarded
Fundsources Property Fund of the Year over three consecutive years for his management of
listed property funds.
At Mint Asset Management, Shane is responsible for all aspects of trans-Tasman equity
fund management, including investment research and portfolio construction. In particular,
Shane is responsible for developing and refining Mint's investment process and for ensuring
the quality of our detailed stock-level research.
Shane holds a Bachelor of Business Studies, a Diploma in Accounting, and has earned the
right to use the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation.

Carlie Eve
Equity Analyst
Carlie Eve is an Equity Analyst at Mint Asset Management.
Carlie has over 13 years’ experience in the financial sector focusing primarily on
equity research and analysis. Carlie gained the majority of her equity experience with
Goldman Sachs JBWere in Auckland where she held both research and investment banking roles.
Most recently Carlie was a member of the executive team at Kiwi Income Property Trust -
New Zealand's largest listed property entity with $1.5 Billion of assets - where she was
responsible for investor relations and communication as well as providing strategic input
into a number of Kiwi’s corporate projects.
At Mint, Carlie's role is to undertake detailed research and analysis of Australian and New
Zealand companies. Carlie holds a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) and Bachelor of Commerce
(Finance) from Auckland University.

Simon Haworth
Operations Manager
Simon joined Mint after working in London's financial markets for over 9 years.
He gained the majority of his experience at Aurum Funds Ltd, a Fund of Hedge Funds,
and Henderson Global Investors, working on both the Equity and Fixed Income desks.
Simon's role at Mint is to manage all aspects of the operations process, as well
as provide portfolio analysis and support.
Simon graduated from Otago University and holds a Bachelor of Arts and a
Bachelor of Commerce.
